YOUTH DEVELOPMENT Training AGES 5-9

During these formative years, the body is primed for new information and ready to ingrain new movement patterns. Athletes will be introduced to and create foundations of overall athleticism in a fun, positive and high-success environment.

High priority on the following skills:

  • Running Technique
  • General Athletic Training & Overall Strength
  • Athletic Coordination
  • Balance
  • Relative strength
  • Hand Eye Coordination

Motor Learning and Skills

The Benefits: Developing these skills are vital in establishing a child’s athletic foundation for improved performance, injury prevention, and long-term enjoyment of sports participation.

ACCELERATED Training AGES 12-14

Building on the fundamentals developed in the Athletic Performance Program, in the Accelerated Program athletes will develop neuromuscular patterns and apply those leaning towards athletic skill application and performance. This is next level to Athletic Performance based on skill, sport and age. The Accelerated Training is the phase where weight training is introduced to the athlete.

Movement Training

  • Acceleration
  • Maximum velocity
  • Change of direction

Strength and Power Training

  • Olympic Lifting Technique
  • Strength Training
  • Sports Specific Supplementary Exercises

The Benefits: 1. Proper movement techniques with increased force production lead to maximized potential. 2. As athletes naturally increase in height, weight, strength and aggressiveness, the need for improved joint integrity is vital for reducing the chance of injury.

COMPETITIVE PERFORMANCE Training AGES 15+

Building on the foundations developed in the previous programs, the Competitive Program is designed to put the final touches on technique and bring together the final pieces to build the total athlete. In essence, each athlete is optimized according to their biggest areas of improvement. This is next level to Accelerate Performance based on skill, sport and age.

Movement Training

  • Acceleration, maximum velocity, change of direction
  • Athletic skill training

Strength and Power Training

  • Training focus increases with moderate and heavy loads to optimize power output.

The Benefits: During the Competitive Program, athletes focus on repeated application of learned athleticism to create mastery. We provide endless combinations of athletic skill training so competing in the game is effortless.

Great gym equipment! It's a good place to workout with your athletic teams for school or travel ball. Power Core 360 and the RMT clubs are great for golf, tennis, or baseball. The staff is very friendly and have great prices!
